Picking A Winning Domain Name For Adsense

Google Adsense LogoPicking a winning domain name for Adsense requires extensive keyword research and a thorough understanding of the market.

You probably heard about the good old days of Google Adsense, when anyone with a monitor and a mouse could make a living online.

Well… go ahead and kick yourself, because those days are long gone.

That’s right… the days of cherry picking money markets have come to a screeching halt, and making money with Adsense requires a certain degree of  skill and determination.

The good news is SMART MARKETERS are still stuffing their wallets with money from Adsense, even though many people have thrown in the towel and moved on to greener pastures.

So, forget what you’ve heard and focus on how to take advantage of this forgotten opportunity.

O.k… to really hit it hard with Adsense you need a keyword rich domain name.

I know people say all the good keyword rich domains are taken, but that’s not true.

However, there are a few important steps you must take to increase your chances of picking a winning domain name for Adsense.

First, pick a market that’s very competitive, with a high search volume, and a high CPC (cost per click) for paid advertisement.

For example, debt elimination, cruise lines, credit cards, mortgage loans, etc.

Then, you’ll need to use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to research the keywords you find in your market.  This tool will tell you the search volume, and the CPC for your keywords.

After finding a good market, visit the Top 5 Organic Websites to see what keywords they are using.  You can examine their keywords by right clicking your mouse and clicking view page source.

Their main keywords will be in the Meta Keywords Tag located near the top of the page.

Open your text editor or notepad, and copy ‘n paste the keywords to note pad.  Then, take the keywords you gathered from all 5 sites and place them in the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, and hit Get Keywords Ideas.

Be sure to check the use synonyms box to expand your keyword search.

Here you’re looking for those high search volume keywords that also have high cost per clicks.

(Note: you may have to hit show all under the display column to see the CPC)

Next, add any new keywords that fit your profile to your notepad keyword list, and do a Google Search for the new keywords.

Repeat this procedure until you find at least 100 high powered keywords.

Finally, take those keywords, visit YourPowerHost.com, and paste your list into the bulk registration tool to check for domain registration availability.   Be sure to check the .com, .net, .info, and .org versions (preferably .com).

If everything is everything, you’ll have a keyword rich domain for winning with Adsense.  If not… do some more research or try a different market.

Google Adsense – The Easiest Way to Fatten Your Pockets

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Google Adsense is a great way to earn extra income online, and has proven to be the easiest concept to grasp by far.  Already, there are tales of sensational riches to be made by those who are working from home in their spare time.  It seems that Google Adsense has already taken over the online marketing world and is now considered the simplest way to making money online.

The key to victory with Adsense is placing ads on pages that are receiving high traffic from high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site.  Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

Especially for newbies,  who’s website maybe buried deep down in the SERPs (search engine results pages), promoting other people’s services can be discouraging.  But, with a few small tweaks they actually make their first buck and all doubt and skepticism is laid to rest.

Now lets look at the two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier with Adsense.

1. Selecting high traffic pages on your website is extremely simple and effective for generating extra cash. If you check your web logs, you will discover where most of your visitors enter and exit your site.  Place Adsense on high traffic pages that are not presently monetized.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages that are generating little, or better yet, no profit. By placing them on a free resources page, you will decrease the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites.  Sneaky, but effective nonetheless.

When worked properly, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a healthy amount of revenue from a high traffic page.  Many people are using this technique to pick up some extra cash with Adsense.  This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that target their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors.  Now they can achieve a monetary return on their services.

With the many strategies that people are now discovering on how to make the fastest money with online, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

Really Neat Tricks To Boost Revenue

There is one particularly handy money-making feature that is now available with Adsense; the ability to filter out up to 200 urls.  This gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites.  This strategy a lone can boost revenue and fatten your pockets even more.

You can also take advantage of your parked domains by putting an Adsense portal site on them.  Gone are the days of not being productive at all times.

Don’t Get Greedy

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money making process.  Easy as it may seem to click on your own ads… Don’t Do It.  Google is pretty smart and too many clicks from one site, especially yours, will raise suspicion and possibly have your site banned.

If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing; which involves emailing and picking up the phone calling webmasters to negotiate advertising space.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay.  As long as there are individuals wanting to make some effortless cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking bright. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.
